“The Cleveland FBI and members of the Cuyahoga Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a 57-year-old Chicago man on a probation violation for a Chicago bank robbery.
Edward Gibson was arrested outside a homeless shelter Friday morning, the FBI said.
Gibson is being held on a federal warrant for Chicago police. He is a suspect in a homicide and other unsolved bank robberies in the Chicago area, the FBI said.
Chicago police alerted Cleveland officials that Gibson was possibly in the Cleveland area and officers spotted him outside the homeless shelter near downtown Cleveland.
Detective Richard Milz with the Chicago police placed a hold on Gibson until he is returned to Chicago. An extradition hearing will he held next week.”
